Matthew, the founder of Vapcom Engineering is the son of a heating engineer and contractor who introduced him to the heating and cooling industry, and taught him the importance of service and family values. Working with his father after school and during holidays, the value of personalised service was handed down from father to son. After leaving school, Matthew enrolled in both trade and engineering studies. Having completed these and graduating with distinction, Matthew worked for several years in the trade before being offered a position as an applications engineer and technical support officer for a global refrigeration company. Matthew has also served as a lecturer on refrigeration and air conditioning at Sydney's Institute of Technology. Through these roles Matthew received unique exposure to major refrigeration and air conditioning projects.
